A Sky Full of Stars

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving day with your loved one. My thanksgiving was spent with my wonderful in laws. I love spending time with them and getting to know them a little bit more each time we get together. I made a few appetizers and my very first Sangria, ever. I made homemade artichoke and spinach dip (cooked in the crockpot) and a delicious cranberry salsa (I will be posting about that salsa in the future). For the Sangria, I took 3 different recipes and mixed them all together. I think I did a great job! It was delicious. Oh and we have leftovers, score!

Cranberry Salsa on top of Cream Cheese. Yummy!

Spinach and Artichoke dip. Yum!
Sangria :)
We all took it pretty easy this Thanksgiving and it was nice because I already have too much to stress about and I didn't want to stress about what food to make. It did keep me busy and right now, keeping my mind busy is good for me.

My father in law did an awesome job setting the table

After eating all the yummy food, we all sit around and talk and laugh. My nephews went outside to play with their toys and Uncle J and I went to play with them. They are getting so big and it makes me sad that our oldest nephew will be a teenager in 4 years! Gosh, time is really flying by. I cherish the moments were he gives me hugs and kisses. I almost cried when he just hugged me when he saw me. He knows that I lost the baby and I can just see in his eyes that he wants to hug my hurt away. Both my nephews are such sweet boys. I'll play with them till they get tired of playing with me. They make my heart sooooo happy!
Aunt Sindi and Uncle Justin just had to go play with these sweet boys. I love my nephews

Playing with my nephews.
We brought our dogs with us so they could play with my in laws' dogs. They had such a fun time with them and when we got home, they were beat! Chief was chewing on his bone and he was so tired he fell asleep with his bone on his leg.
Chief is tired from all the playing he did with his doggy family at my in laws
What did you all do for Thanksgiving? Do you have a tradition with your family? Would love to hear about your time with family and friends.  Hope everyone has a blessed day!
