Baby It's Not Cold Outside

Blogging it up at Starbucks today. I had an appointment with my chiropractor early and I have an appointment with my fertility doctor as well. Both appointments are 3 hours apart so I figured I would bring my laptop to kill time and write a new post.

It's a rainy day today...windy and rainy...I'm not going to say cold, because it is NOT cold here in The Woodlands. For me to say it's cold, it should be below 30s. It's currently 55 degrees...woohoo...
At Starbucks in Market Street
It's been a few days since I've post something, so it looks like I have a lot to catch up on. On Saturday, we drove to Dallas to go watch the Mavs play Warriors. We go every year for the past 3 years. It's my hubs' Christmas present. We have a ton of fun! I love our little tradition. The Mavs lost, by 7 points the hubs was not too happy about it, but hey, we didn't lose by much! Gotta think positive!

Me!

I was on my tippy toes..haha
After the game, we met up with a couple of his friends from college. We had dinner and hung out and talked about when they were all in college. It's fun to listen to stories about my hubs and his friends.

The next day, our friends, Kelly and Christopher, invited us to their daughter's baptism. I felt so honored to be part of such a beautiful ceremony. Both J and I have never been to a catholic baptism before, so it was interesting to see all that entailed. We were invited back to her parents house, but we had to get back home to our puppies. It was a fun weekend and great time catching up with friends.
Kelly, Christopher, their daughter Hallie, and us. Isn't she precious!?!
Hilton Anatole. The hotel we stay at every time we come. They go crazy on their Christmas decorations. I love it!
On Tuesday, I had to help my mom with a car rental issue she was having and later I stopped by a golf shop. I am in need of new clubs, but the hubs said I will have to wait. Boo!!! So I bought a new golf glove cause my old one is, well, old. I had a great time talking to the young man about golf that I lost track of time. Oops! I love golf. The end.

How cute is my golf glove? It even has a hole for my ring and it's pink! Double score!
Later that night I was on a baking frenzy. I made gluten free oatmeal raisin cookies and gluten free pumpkin bread. Yumm! I've never been a great baker. Ok, who am I lying to? I've been a sucky baker. I can't bake to save my life. I cook, not bake...blah! Anyways, these cookies and bread were amazing!!! I wish I could share it with you all. The hubs loooooved the cookies. I'm almost out and I baked 2 dozen. Oh, the funny thing is, I'm not a dessert fan. Yeah, yeah, get over it haha. Oh and I hate chocolate...I know! What kind of a woman am I?! Haha.

Baking and having a glass of wine. That's how I roll

I think the wine probably helped with the cookies coming out yummy

Gluten Free pumpkin bread...no sugar added, just maple syrup
Oh and I'm pretty sad about the weather we've been having lately. It's been in the low 70s. It doesn't feel like Christmas time. It is cool in the morning, but by noon it's hot.

Not cold enough for the real fireplace...I'll just pretend it's cold. haha!
On Wednesday, I went to my RE get some more blood work. Yeah, I'm so used to getting poked. Funny how I used to be so scared of needles. Now I know how inject myself and the sight of needles make me yawn. So one of the nurses called me and said that they needed me to come back so I could talk to Dr. Griffith. My blood labs came back super low and they want to talk about what the next step will be. So that's what I'm doing today. Fun stuff.
Infertility, you SUCK!
Oh, before I let you go, I made these cute gifts for my neighbors! I think they will love them. I added a $10 gift card from Redbox (which you can get online and you email them to yourself and print them out and stuff them inside). I wrote a little note that says "Merry Christmas to all and to all a Movie Night!" Cute, huh?
Movie Night gift idea
So sorry this post was soooo long. It's been a busy month and I barely have time to sit and breath. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. God bless!
