Wild Horses Couldn't Drag Me Away

These past two days have been such a blur. It feels is if I've been dreaming. I've been in a funk lately and haven't felt well (probably all in my head). I don't want to get out of bed and I force myself to do so. It's painful, but I do it. So let me tell you about the fun stuff I did this past weekend.

On Sunday, we went to church with my in laws and Pastor Bill had a wonderful sermon, like always. After, my very best friend, Twinkie (that's her nickname from me), her bf, hubs, and I went to the Renaissance Festival for her birthday celebration. The hubs and I usually go more than once, but this will be our first year we couldn't. I love RenFest! I love people watching and looking at what the people wear. I mean, people will wear crazy things. It's sort of like adult halloween, I guess. I've been going to RenFest for 11 yrs now. Gosh, I feel old! Haha! Every time I go, it's like the first time all over again. It's a magical place. Oh and I love the Turkey legs.

This is a tradition...take a photo of me holding a turkey leg that's almost as big as me...haha!
I love going to watch the shows as well. Ded Bob show is one of many favorites! It's this a puppeteer with his skeleton puppet and they make the crowd sing and they tell jokes. It's lost of fun. Another favorite is Sound and Fury, this one has 3 guys and they warn parents that it can get explicit. They are very naughty but funny! My all time favorite show has got to be Arsene. He's a French guy, but you wouldn't know because his entire show, he doesn't speak. He does magic and juggles. I love him!

The boys smoking a cigar.
All in all we always have a fun time, especially when we go with friends!
My twinkie
The hubs and I (yes, I am holding a bottle of wine with a straw!
Ok, the picture above cracks me up. The bartender asked if I rather buy a bottle of wine because it would be cheaper than buying glasses. I said sure and she asked if I wanted a glass or straw. I giggled and she said "It's a serious question..." Hahaha! Of course, I thought it would be funny to carry a bottle of wine with a straw in it. She gave me the cork so I could take the rest home. People thought it was pretty clever and I saw some of them going to buy bottles of wine with straws in them. I think I started a trend...oops! Haha!

Me and my fox
Oh and I met this fox dude. He was cute. I wanted to take him home, but J said no more pets. Boo! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Sorry for not posting as much as I should. Like I said, I've been in a funk and I'm trying to get out of it. Love you all and God Bless!
